4D Interactive is a company based on the Blended Learning philosophy of training, a concept that has emerged with the onset of technology-based learning outlets such as Video, Internet, and Simulations. Such learning combines more traditional methods of teaching, such as instructor led classes held in a physical classroom or auditorium, with technology-based content that is learner-driven and self-paced.

We have revolutionized training communications across of multitude of organization and cultural platforms by blending various learning platforms including Classroom Instruction, Peer Remediation, One-on-One Instruction, and Multimedia Training Programs (including eLearning) into the "Best of Breed" solution customized to the client's needs.

A typical Blended Learning mix will include the following:

  • Live Events: Synchronous, instructor-led learning events in which all learners participate at the same time, such as a classroom.
  • Self-Paced Learning: Learning experiences that the learner completes individually, at his or her own speed and on his or her own time, done through mediums such as Interactive CD-ROMs, Web-based Programs, or Video.
  • Collaboration: Environments in which learners communicate with others, for example, e-mail, threaded discussions, workshops, or online chats.
  • Knowledge Assessment: A measure of a learner's knowledge. Pre-assessments can come before live or self-paced events, to determine prior knowledge, and post-assessments can occur following live or self-paced learning events, to measure learning transfer.
